Notes
Professional interests & philosophy of care: Nichole is no stranger to Grande Ronde Hospital or the patients we serve. She first came to GRH during her nursing school clinicals in 2011 and was hired straight out of OHSU. Over the past decade, she has cared for patients in a variety of roles—most recently in the operating room alongside Drs. Whitaker and Romer.
Now stepping into her new role at the GRH Women’s Clinic, Nichole brings a long-standing passion for women’s health to the forefront of her practice. “Women are so strong, and their bodies are capable of amazing things,” she says. “But so often, they put themselves last. I love helping women learn how to care for themselves and improve their quality of life.”
Nichole values building strong partnerships with her patients. “When trust is there, we can work together toward the best possible health outcomes,” she explains. She looks forward to offering continuity of care—supporting patients both in the clinic and the operating room alongside providers she’s worked with for years.
Personal interests: Outside of work, Nichole enjoys everything our beautiful valley has to offer, from rafting and mountain biking to foraging for huckleberries. At home, she’s often reading, knitting, or baking sourdough bread for her family.
