GRH Value Statement
Quality Measures
GRH adheres to the belief that quality care is defined as doing the right thing, at the right time, for the right person with the best possible outcomes. To ensure our patients receive the level of quality care we strive for, we focus our efforts around national priorities and follow the guidelines of several state and federal organizations; including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, The Joint Commission, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the Oregon Office of Rural Health and the Oregon Association of Hospitals and Health Systems. You may compare our quality performance with other healthcare organizations by visiting the Oregon Hospital Guide, Oregon Healthcare Quality Corporation, and Hospital Compare.
Patient Satisfaction
GRH actively solicits feedback on our care through satisfaction surveys. We truly do want to hear from our community on our services and we sincerely appreciate the time it takes to complete one. GRH uses the NRC Picker program to measure patient satisfaction on a scale of 1 to 10 in all hospital service areas. This data, combined with patient comments, are carefully reviewed to help us know where we are measuring up and where we need to improve. This process helps us to better care for our patients and serve our community.
Cost Effectiveness
GRH participates in the Oregon Association of Hospitals & Health Systems comparison database that allows consumers to compare charges among Oregon hospitals for most common procedures. We analyze our pricing annually to ensure our fees are reasonable and competitive while ensuring we remain a viable healthcare provider for our community for many years to come. In addition, as a private not-for-profit, our patient financial services efforts have helped to establish a robust financial assistance program. We can provide cost estimates for most procedures.
