Professional interests: Ellen has background as a wildland firefighter and EMT, and previously worked as registered nurse for the past several years in a busy emergency department in Boise, Idaho. She is excited to transition into the role of family nurse practitioner (FNP), where she plans to develop long-term relationships with her patients, while empowering them to attain their health goals.
Personal interests: Ellen is happy to be back in La Grande, where she was born and raised, with her husband and their two dogs. She looks forward to enjoying all of the outdoor activities that Eastern Oregon has to offer, including mountain-biking, trail-running, backpacking, rock-climbing and snowboarding.
