To Our Valued Community,

As your local healthcare providers, we know that every parent wants what’s best for their child: a healthy start, a strong future, and the chance to grow and thrive. We also understand that questions about vaccines can be complicated and, at times, overwhelming. Those conversations matter, and we welcome them. Our role is to listen, share trusted information, and help families feel confident in the decisions they make for their children’s health.

Lately, we’ve had more parents reaching out with questions about childhood vaccines. We understand how easy it can be to encounter conflicting information, especially online, and how hard it can be to know what to trust. That’s why we’re reaching out — to offer reassurance, facts, and partnership from people you already know and trust.

Please know that local providers are here to support all children, regardless of where they are in their vaccination journey. Our shared goal is simple: to partner with parents in keeping kids healthy, protected, and on track for the adventures ahead.

We’ve had the privilege of caring for generations of children in Union County. We’ve seen them grow, learn, and flourish, and we’ve also seen how devastating vaccine-preventable diseases can be. These experiences, both here at home and throughout our medical training, remind us how important childhood vaccines are in protecting children’s health and ensuring they can stay in school and do the things they love.

In recent years, we’ve noticed that childhood vaccination patterns in our area have shifted. As a group of healthcare professionals who live and work in this community, we share both a concern and a hope: that every child remains protected from preventable illness. Vaccines remain one of the most effective tools available to prevent serious disease and support lifelong wellness.

We also encourage you to read the message shared by the American Academy of Pediatrics, “Why Pediatricians Recommend Vaccines: An Open Letter to Parents.” It reflects our shared values and our commitment to your child’s well-being.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your family’s care. Together, we can continue to keep our community healthy—one child, one conversation, and one act of prevention at a time.

Sincerely,
Your Union County Healthcare Providers
