Contact: Karrine Brogoitti
Grande Ronde Hospital & Clinics (GRH) is pleased to welcome Aurelia Kucera, DO, PhD, to our Emergency Department team. Dr. Kucera brings both expertise and heart to her work, with a deep commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and a passion for serving rural communities.
For Dr. Kucera, emergency medicine is more than a career — it’s a calling. “As an Emergency physician, I have the privilege of helping people on the worst day of their lives,” she shared. “I love being able to provide reassurance and guidance during a difficult time, in addition to excellent medical care. I also enjoy the variety — treating everything from bothersome complaints to life-threatening emergencies.”
Her philosophy of care centers on collaboration and respect for patients’ individual needs. “There is not always one right answer to a problem,” she explained. “I like to work with patients to find a treatment plan that works for them, while also making sure it meets the standard of care.”
Drawn to GRH for its mission and culture, Dr. Kucera says our motto — “Big City Medicine. Hometown Touch.” — resonates deeply with her. She and her husband are excited to make Eastern Oregon their new home, where they plan to enjoy skiing, hiking, birding, and falconry, along with a few new adventures like learning to find huckleberries.
GRH is proud to welcome Dr. Kucera to our Emergency Department team. Her skill, compassion, and commitment to patient-centered care are a perfect fit for our patients and our community.
