GRANDE RONDE HOSPITAL CEO APPOINTED TO AMERICAN HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION REGIONAL POLICY BOARD

Jeremy Davis, President and CEO of Grande Ronde Hospital and Clinics, has been appointed as an Oregon state delegate to the American Hospital Association (AHA) Regional Policy Board 9.
The AHA, a national nonprofit organization representing hospitals and health systems across the country, plays a vital role in shaping healthcare policy. Its nine regional policy boards serve as key forums for communication between the AHA, member hospitals, and state hospital associations, ensuring that diverse healthcare needs and perspectives help guide national policies and programs.
"It’s an honor to represent Oregon’s hospitals—especially those in rural communities—on the AHA’s Regional Policy Board," said Davis. "Healthcare policy decisions must reflect the unique challenges and strengths of hospitals like Grande Ronde, which provide high-quality care despite workforce shortages, reimbursement challenges, and geographic barriers. I look forward to collaborating with my peers to ensure our hospitals remain strong and sustainable."
Regional Policy Board 9 is comprised of approximately 30 leaders from AHA member hospitals and health systems in California, Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. The Board meets three times annually and works throughout the year to advocate for the healthcare needs of the region. Davis’ appointment runs through Dec. 31, 2027.
Davis has led Grande Ronde Hospital and Clinics since 2019, guiding the organization through a period of growth, innovation, and advocacy for rural healthcare sustainability. Under his leadership, GRH has expanded access to specialty care, enhanced its telemedicine network, and remained financially independent in an era of increasing hospital consolidations. His appointment to the Regional Policy Board underscores his commitment to strengthening rural healthcare and ensuring that policies support hospitals of all sizes and locations.
