GRH Foundation wraps up 2025 Golf Scramble

The Grande Ronde Hospital Foundation proudly hosted its 2025 Golf Scramble on Sept. 6, marking more than three decades of golf, fun and philanthropy in Union County. Each year, this event brings together community members, local businesses and friends of the Foundation for a day of friendly competition and support for local health care. This year the Foundation raised over $22,000 to use for patient care equipment and projects.

This year's winners included:

  • Low Gross (1st place): Tony and Trisha Peterson, Brian Bell, Devin Bell
  • Low Gross (2nd place): Steve Wilcox, John Warness, Larry Folston, Wade Twilegar
  • Low Net (1st place): Tayde and Kyle McAndie, Trinity and Todd McAndie
  • Low Net (2nd place): Mitch Byrnes, Bryan Mills, Mat Belote, Tanner Cassens

Special contest winners were also recognized:

  • Longest Putt: Wade Twilegar
  • KP (Closest to the Pin): John Warness
  • Long Drive—Men's: John Warness
  • Long Drive—Women's: Kali McNally

Putting contest winners were Arlee Anderson in first place, winning a Blackstone Griddle, and Peter Benjamin, winning a $100 Hines Meat gift card.

For a touch of fun, the Loveland Funeral Chapel's "Dead Last" Award, the Best Dressed Award and the GRH Foundation's Spirit Award were presented to some very deserving participants.

The Foundation extends a heartfelt thank-you to every golfer, sponsor and supporter who made this year's scramble a success. A very special thank-you goes to our title sponsors, Admiral Beverage Pepsi Cola of Eastern Oregon and Tri-County Equipment.

For over 30 years, the GRH Foundation Golf Scramble has been a community tradition. Funds raised help strengthen the Foundation's mission of supporting health care services close to home—ensuring quality care for generations to come.
