GRH named a top 100 critical access hospital—again!

Grande Ronde Hospital (GRH) has again earned national recognition as one of the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) in the United States by The Chartis Center for Rural Health. This is the eighth time since 2011 we've received this prestigious honor.

With 1,368 CAHs nationwide, this distinction places GRH in the top 7.3%—a remarkable affirmation of our commitment to delivering exceptional care right here at home.

Grande Ronde Hospital is also one of only two hospitals in Oregon to make this year's Top 100 list—further proof that rural excellence lives here in Union County.

Each year, Chartis evaluates rural hospitals using the Rural Hospital Performance INDEX, a national benchmarking tool that examines hospitals across eight key areas:
