Professional interests: Elena has always been drawn to complex medical diagnoses and long-term management, acute stabilization, and recovery in patients living with these conditions. Recognizing that relief of symptoms and quality of life is a huge goal for many patients and families, Elena finds that palliative medicine is an underutilized approach.
Personal interests: Elena and her husband, their two children and their dogs enjoy family time together, attending their children’s school and sporting events, and exploring the great outdoors.
