Hospital Facilities Director earns professional certification in building systems technology

LA GRANDE -- Elaine LaRochelle, Facilities Director for Grande Ronde Hospital, has completed the certification program for Building Operator Certification-Level I, effective 8/l/2011.

The Building Operator Certification (BOC ®) credential is awarded to individuals who demonstrate knowledge and competency in the energy efficient operation and maintenance of buildings and equipment. BOC® is a national professional program widely recognized by employers and facility associations across the U.S.

Course work involves more than 74 hours of classroom training, assessment and in-facility project assignments in HVAC systems, energy conservation, codes and indoor air quality.

Grande Ronde Hospital commends LaRochelle for the training and project work she completed in Building Operations to earn this certificate.
