GRH Announces Convenience of Secure Electronic Payment Option

For those patients who have asked if paying their hospital bill online is an option, the answer is now a resounding, “Yes!”
Grande Ronde Hospital has announcedit has added secure on-line bill pay options to its web site, for those who want the convenience of making secure electronic payments.
“Our patientscan have the utmost confidence that we have chosen a product thatwilldeliver their payment informationto ustimely and securely. We did a lot of research to find an option that was user friendly andsecure. I am very excited about being able to offer thisservice to our patients,” said Karli Wright, the Hospital's patient financial services manager.
Wright said an interdepartmental team has been researching options for adding the service for more than a year. The service also includes the ability to pay bills with the Women’s, Children’s and Regional Medical clinics. In addition, there is an option to set up a recurring payment for making monthly installments. Payments may be made with either a credit/debit card or through the PayPal option.
Wright, who also serves as one of Grande Ronde Hospital’s compliance officers, said the new GRH onlinebill paytransactions areboth Payment Card Industry (PCI) andHealth Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliant.
