Grande Ronde Hospital and Saint Alphonsus Health System sign Affiliation agreement; moveexpands quality care for La Grande and surrounding communities

Grande Ronde Hospital and Saint Alphonsus Health System, Boise, Idaho, have signed an affiliation agreement that will enhance medical services for residents of Northeastern Oregon. The affiliation agreement means the two health care organizations will use technology, collaboration and on-going programmatic developments to increase access to services and health care providers.

“Our physicians and management teams have worked collaboratively in the past to share knowledge and expertise,” said Jim Mattes, President and CEO, Grande Ronde Hospital. “We look forward to exciting opportunities as these relationships continue to grow and prosper.”

The nationally recognized partnership between Saint Alphonsus and Grande Ronde in telemedicine is a key example of our shared cultures, mutual goals and proven ability to work together effectively to benefit our patients and our communities. Additionally, the proximity of Baker City and La Grande provides unique opportunities for integration of health care services.
