Description:

Requirements: Bachelor degree or higher in healthcare-related field. Experience in Health Care Operations or comparable industry related customer service programs. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, comfortable using electronic databases. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey’s preferred. Certification in Patient Experience and/or Patient Advocacy is preferred or willing to obtain certification within 2 years of employment. Certification in Lean and/or Six Sigma, Team STEPPS trainer preferred. Project management experience (certification preferred). Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication, and human relation skills. Ability to lift 25 pounds with frequent lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Maintain complete confidentiality of all work assignments and PHI. Must demonstrate strong personal integrity, stamina, and emotional stability; remain calm in crisis. Ability to present and interpret medical terminology in a concise, assertive, and effective manner during discussions with a patient, provider or hospital representative. Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions. Identifies and utilizes appropriate patient experience and performance improvement methodologies. Travel to all Grande Ronde Hospital campuses on short notice. Function independently, adaptable workflow, and have high personal integrity.
