Description:

Requirements: Minimum of two (2) years of healthcare experience required. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business administration preferred. Demonstrate excellent communication skills. Knowledge of medical billing processes, coding classification systems and insurance policies required. Must demonstrate strong personal integrity and business ethics. Type at least 50 wpm. Good organizational skills. Effectively speak, present, and communicate information and respond to questions. Read & interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals and write routine reports and correspondence. Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures. Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position. Be effective at adjusting to change, prioritizing duties, and handling stress. Required to lift and move heavy office furniture, supplies, and records up to 50 lbs. Preference given to candidates with revenue cycle and/or patient billing experience.
