Requirements: A four-year degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or in similar fields from an accredited institution is required. Experience in healthcare environment, general database design and development experience, and demonstrated skills in data analysis and database models and database query languages preferred. Strong logical and conceptual data modeling experience is preferred. Experience in the preparation and delivery of formal and/or informal Information Technology user training, preferred. Experience leading co-workers through projects, and working in groups with customers on defined and undefined goals preferred. Strong interpersonal customer service skills with the ability to meet and work with people easily is a plus.

The Financial Data Analyst position serves as the primary reporting and analytics resource with focus on financial services. The Financial Data Analyst has responsibility and focus on system support, maintenance, analysis, design, specifications documentation, maintenance of report documentation, change control, and versioning of all reporting and analysis components used to build, manage and perform multi-system business intelligence and reporting. The position is responsible for defining report and analytics tool requirements, design, develop, test, install and implement report-based programs, report programming designs, coding, testing, debug, and documentation of system scripts, programs, and reports in the application, web, and database environments. This position will also educate key users on how to utilize various end-user tools to analyze the data models and how to write their own reports and analyses, using the various tools in the Business Intelligence toolkit developed by the Data Analytics department. This position reports directly to the Analytics Manager.


  • Manage business intelligence (BI) and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge
  • Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
  • Translate business needs to technical specifications
  • Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
  • Maintain and support data analytics platforms
  • Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)
  • Conduct unit testing, troubleshooting and validation
  • Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
  • Develop and execute database queries using SQL and conduct analyses
  • Create visualizations and reports for requested projects, using business intelligence software SSRS, SSMS, and SQL DEVELOPER
  • Present information using data visualization techniques
  • Develop and update technical documentation
