Description:
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree, certification in healthcare compliance (CHC, CHC-F, CHRC and /or CCEP), or other advanced degree strongly preferred. Minimum 5 years’ experience in health care compliance and privacy required. Minimum 3 years’ experience in healthcare leadership role required. Strong organizational skills, motivated, self-directed, able to work independently, prioritize and juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines and achieve results. Transparent and collaborative leader comfortable spearheading and supporting change. Working knowledge and understanding of regulations pertaining to Healthcare Compliance (Anti-kickback Statute, False Claims, Stark, HIPAA, etc.) and demands placed on health care organizations. Future-focused, Ability to remain current on developments in technological innovation, pending legislation, and other early indictors of what the compliance and privacy landscape may resemble in the near and long-term future. Sterling ethics and track record of ethical courage. Committed to fostering a collaborative culture of Compliance & Ethics. Demonstrate ability to diplomatically respond to difficult and stressful situations and work as part of a team. Demonstrate non-defensive, objective, fact-based approach to issue resolution: commands personal respect across diverse organizational groups through a collaborative and cooperative work style. Ability to manage responses to government inquiries including insurance carrier audits and federal investigations. Experience directing and developing policies and budgets. Coach, motivate, develop and provide guidance to direct reports. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
