All of our physician applicants must meet the strictest guidelines for medical staff requirements as standardized by the Joint Commission. We require our employed physicians to be Board certified in their specialty or eligible for Board certification within 24 months of their hire date.
The mission of the Joint Commission is to continuously improve the safety and quality of care provided to the public by health care organizations through accreditation and the support of performance improvement. The mission of the Oregon Medical Board is to protect the health, safety and well being of Oregon citizens by regulating the practice of medicine in a manner that promotes quality care through licensing, investigation, disciplinary action, rehabilitation, education and research.
